End of Season Dinner & Prize Giving to take place on Friday July 21st at Kamares Club. Tickets will be sold at the Keg and Barrel and will cost ₤10.50 each. Everyone is welcome for an enjoyable evening with a DJ and buffet.

Junior Rugby to begin in September 2006. Tony Thoma the 1st team captain and some senior players are going to assist the junior coaches. There will be a kit for the juniors as there will be games lined up against other clubs and schools on the island.

C.R.F (Cyprus Rugby Federation) is now recognized by K.O.A (Cyprus Sports Organization) and a Cypriot International side will now be part of the IRB. With their first 2 games lined up against Malta (September, Paphos) and Greece (October, Nicosia).

Fun Day to take place on Sunday, April 30th at the Kiniras Sports Ground Yeroskipou from 11:00 am onwards. 3:00 pm K.O.
The event includes stalls, games, food and drinks, touch rugby match (D & J Westcoast Ltd Vs Tiger's Invitation), live music, Greek dancing, tug of war, raffle and prize give-aways, and more!

The two Junior Teams ages 7 - 10 and 11 - 13 played very well, coming in 2nd in their respective age groups, the under 10s losing 4 - 0 to the Limassol Crusaders Juniors in the finals, and the under 13s losing 1 - 0 in extra time to St. Johns School from Episkopi. Well done to the coaching staff and especially the players who out-performed themselves.

The Tigers Fun Day on May 21st is a fund raising day for the Tigers and features a game between a Representative Cyprus XV against a Cyprus Combined Services XV. The day also features side shows, sports displays, bars, food etc.

We need lots of volunteers on the day and also members to sit on the committee & help organize the day. We haven't had much response for the committee so if you feel you you can help contact  Ron on tisron@cytanet.com.cy  or mobile 99934315.

We will hold one per month until we get closer to May. Your Club needs you!

Our social functions went really well with the ‘Shirt Launch’ on September 21st being a huge success with an amazing guest appearance of Jason Leonard courtesy of Rona and Andreas from Artio’s. Jason lived up to his image of a really nice guy by talking to nearly everyone during the evening and spending a lot of time chatting with the players. I am sure everyone will remember this very special occasion and our thanks go to Rona for arranging this.

We have redesigned our site once again! We thought we should go with a design that matched our Clubs' colors a bit more =) and have made our navigation structure more user-friendly. We hope you approve =)

All scripts used on our site now are much more powerful and advanced, powered by PHP and MySQL.

● Check out our new Galleries! We approached it in a different and interesting way, now you can rate our photos and comment on them, have a favorites section. Most importantly, you can become a member and have your very own Albums which you can upload your own photos to!! If you have some photos of our games you'd like to display you can do so, you can even have a personal album if you want. You can fill your albums with any photos that you want, as long as they do not violate our Terms of Service.

Cyprus was invited to play in the 2004 International Beirut 10's Tournament and came home VICTORIOUS! Congratulations Cyprus!!
The Cyprus team was comprised of players from the Paphos Tigers and Nicosia Barbarians, Tony Thoma (captain), George Agathocleous, Alex Alexandrov, Jaymes Payten, Peter Obolensky, Stuart Jackson, Marios Kyriakides, Toby Wood, Gary Thomson, Duncan Kirby, Dimitri Maratheftis, Mark Atkinson, Mike Maratheftis, Stavros Charalambos.

We have a new Guestbook! We have been revamping our site from top to bottom to provide our supporters and viewers better content and a better experience while browsing our site. Our previous Guestbook had numerous banners embedded on the page and pop-ups, our new one is PHP driven therefore more powerful, and best of all Ad-Free!

● The new categories consist of "Gallery 4 - Video Clips" currently consisting of 2 video clips of the Combined Cyprus XV V Combined Services XV game which took place on May 8th 2004 (if anyone has any other video clips of the Paphos Tigers during any game please pass them over and we will add them to our Video Clips section)
● The other category "Gallery 5 - Media Coverage" consists of newspaper clippings and articles from different newspapers and magazines. There are four available for viewing on our website and many available for download in a zip folder.

The Sports and Fun Day we organized was a smashing hit! We had an awesome outcome, many events, stalls, plenty of food and drink, and a brilliant game!

Tigers to play in triangular tournament in March. The other two teams are the Nicosia Barbarians and Limassol Crusaders.

Sports Day coming up in June. Final date to be announced soon.

Tigers beat Limassol Crusaders 93 - 3 in a friendly game on February 28th 2004.

Anyone interested in participating in the club in any way is more than welcome. We are always looking for people not only to play the game, but who have refereed or coached, or anyone who has been involved with any club. We are looking for anyone who is willing to help out with the club, and also looking for coaches as we want to start coaching youngsters.

Tag/Touch Rugby League to commence in summer. Non-contact sport, which means anyone can play, whether they are male or female of any age.

Anyone interested in entering their own team is more than welcome. Teams can be mixed, male and female of any age.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Party, it was a huge success and fully booked, leaving many saddened that they could not attend. It was a most enjoyable evening for players and supporters alike.

The season commences on January 10th 2004, with the Tigers playing away against the Lions. The season ends at the end of January, but there are few tournaments and fun events planned to take us into the summer. We will be starting a touch rugby league (non-contact rugby), looking to get players of both sexes, young or old involved in the game.
